Cast Iron Skillet Ribeye

- 2 ribeye steaks

- butter (we used Irish butter)

- olive oil

- garlic

- thyme

- sea salt

- pepper

Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Add butter, olive oil, garlic and thyme to the cast iron pan on high heat. Let the garlic and thyme infuse the butter and oil. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Throw the ribeyes into the skillet and sear for about 4 minutes. Then, flip the steaks and put the skillet into the oven for about 4 minutes. Add a pat of butter on top of each steak and put in the oven until it is melted.
